Overview
NEW ARCED TIPS
Ronix took that smooth, fast, oversize sweet spot, with built in tee box technology creating that extra floaty free feeling and borrowed some technology from their alpine friends. Now the easiest riding mid to high end board in wakeboarding has tip/tail arcs independent from the rocker line. This opens up a whole new style of riding options and added comfort on the water. For higher end riders you can now commit to a well executed nose/tail style press on the water, blunt side off the lip of the wave and other tricks that don’t involve the board leaving the water. But, just as importantly that added angle makes a smoother transition up the wake and provides a bigger sweet spot on landings. A little white wash on the wake - added chop on the lake - no problem this board will cruise right though it like your favorite snowboard would cruddy snow.
OVERALL BOARD SUMMARY
Wakeboard with less effort and longer rides. A shape with more stability, speed, and freedom allowing you to extend your wakeboarding career for many years to come. For over a ¼ century Parks Bonifay has continually refined wakeboards; this shape has the biggest sweet spot in the middle with even more volume in the tip/tail and an easier release off the wake from a rounded profile. Over the decades of Parks’ wakeboarding journey aggressive, reactive, and explosive have been replaced with smoother, less strain, and predictable. That started with the rockerline – Ronix created an arc that allows any rider to go into the wake blindfolded and they will know exactly how the board will lift off the water every time. This easy take off also has more glide speed putting less strain on your body. To give the rider fast, free cutbacks, Ronix “borrowed” technology from the golf industry and ran hexagon dimples through the entire bottom of the board to reduce friction from the water and create a board that will break free unlike any other shape out there. Ronix continued to reduce the side cut of this series, and that added volume makes it easier to ride at slower speeds with more controlled landings. Snowboards shouldn’t have all the fun - enjoy the new Parks board.
