I'll start by saying my one-year old doesn't love wearing this vest, or even being in the water, but I think that's the case with any life vest. He seems to tolerate it far better than his other vest which zips up the front. I feel confident this will keep him safe. And the colors are pleasant, not the garish neons often popular on life vests.
